Without a bunch of burdensome religious "extras". Unlike so many American churches, we have NO interest in producing an entertaining Sunday stage show. Instead, we are inviting individuals to know the Father and worship Him with their lives because "the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship Him" (John 4:23).

At Spirit & Truth, we don't just talk about the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; we also endeavor to follow Jesus's example by faith, as led by the Holy Spirit.​ As Jesus said, “As the Father has sent Me, even so I am sending you” (John 20:21) and "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father" (John 14:12). OUR MISSION, OUR PASSION
Our mission is both straightforward and biblical.
First and foremost, we, as a Grants Pass church family, have dedicated our lives to ministering to the Father "in spirit and truth" (see John 4:23-24). Above all else, our passion is to "Love the Lord [our] God with all [our] heart and with all [our] soul and with all [our] mind and with all [our] strength" (Mark 12:30).
Secondly, we are committed to living God's second greatest commandment: "Love your neighbor as yourself" (Mark 12:31). Our goal is to love you as Jesus has loved us.
Finally, we are furthering Jesus’s Kingdom mission on Earth as it is in Heaven (see Luke 4:18-19; Matthew 6:9-15; Acts 1:1; John 20:21; 1 John 4:17). Every time you gather with us, you will encounter the manifest presence of God, grow in love, and experience greater freedom because "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom" (2 Corinthians 3:17).

OUR BELIEFS, OUR FAITH

Like the 1st-century Church (as witnessed in the book of Acts), we are a loving, Jesus-following, Spirit-filled church family—rather than a stagnant religious institution. We are careful to heed Jesus’s rebuke to the 1st-century equivalent of pastors (the Pharisees): "Then He said, 'You skillfully sidestep God's law in order to hold on to your own tradition'" (Mark 7:9 NLT).
